I ADORE Kevin Henkes as does my 1 year old daughter. Already she will look at her little bookshelf and pick the book she wants us to read to her. It's a fun time for all!
We picked up Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse at a used book store a few weeks ago. Thanks for all of the ideas! Joshua enjoys Lilly - he has Lilly's comments memorized and recites Lilly's parts as we read the story together. Lots of fun!
AH! We've been having our own celebration of Kevin Henkes this week 'cause we just got Lily's PPP and Owen at the Bookstore's sidewalk sale yesterday. Hooray!

We highly recommend Lilly's Purple Plastice Purse, my five year old had me read it everyday we had it from the library.
